Chillaxin'
Yesterday, Husband and I used an excellent Groupon deal to check into a local, swanky hotel. We had a room with a corner balcony.
This picture was taken right before eating a cheese and fruit platter, downed with cocktails, then we walked to a restaurant for dinner. There was lots of reading in between eating, and it was really relaxing.
We even got a bottle of champagne, roses and chocolate turndown service, and a yummy breakfast the next morning--all through Groupon.
I highly recommend taking a mini-vacation at a local hotel. Less packing, less driving, still the same amount of chillaxin' (probably more because of the less packing, less driving).

It was definitely a good weekend! Everybody should check out the deals Groupon and livingsocial have. They're not great all the time, but sometimes they have super deals, especially for trying out new places.
