Fave of the week: August 6-August 12

Surprisingly, Tuesday's outfit grew on me--I almost chose it for my fave of the week. Instead I'm going with Monday's outfit.

This skirt is one of my favorites--the layers of patterns make it a lot of fun. It pretty much calls for the rest of the outfit to be simple, though, but I was happy to see that throwing in another pattern worked with it. A rich color cardigan and shoes also add to it, and make me happy that I'm not over simplifying.
