One of my favorite things to do in the world is to wake up, and still bleary-eyed, pull my book toward me, and start my day reading. That's what I did this morning, starting at The Battle of Hogwarts and reading through until I finished
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Here's the review I put up two years ago on Goodreads. I don't know--maybe it is my favorite now? Reading the series through so many times now, I can really appreciate all the work Rowling put into the series, bringing in details from Books 1 through 6, and it makes Book 7 pretty amazing. And yeah, it made me cry a couple of times--during Snape's memories (when he told Lily being Muggle-born didn't matter) and when Mrs. Weasley stormed in to fight Bellatrix (she loves her family so much).
I finally got out of bed and Husband and I went on a tour of some model homes. Being in the car all day and then in homes without blinds calls for a hat.

I added a lighter colored belt and sandals to balance out the lighter straw hat.
You look like a cute fashionista going on a safari
ReplyDeleteHaha. Thanks, I'll have to remember to pack exactly this outfit if I ever go on one. Maybe next time I go to the zoo at least.
